Jack-in-the-Boxes[1] (also formatted as Jack-in-the-boxes)[2] are enemies in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They are encountered in the third stage of the Mario Zone. Jack-in-the-Boxes appear from certain blocks with a single coin and bounce around wildly after being released. A Jack-in-the-Box can be defeated either from being jumped on or from a fireball being thrown at it.
