JEANIE and Beep-0, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

The Spellbound Woods are on the planet Palette Prime in the game Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. They are a large maze-like forest that have a pond close to a big tree. The Abandoned Well is in the center of the Woods, where a Darkmess Tentacle lies. The Dryad lives in her nest in the woods. The Giant Depleter is also found in the woods, in an optional area.

Because of the Darkmess Tentacle, the color on the trees is gone. After the heroes clear out the Tentacle, the color returns to all the trees, as well as causing the animals to return.

The Spellbound Woods are a large forest that JEANIE describes as labyrinthian, meaning that it is basically a maze. Multiple Goombas and Ghostly Walkers roam around the area. There are two Teleport Flags in the Spellbound Woods: they are "Spellbound Woods Entrance Flag", and "Abandoned Well".

If the heroes enter the Spellbound Woods before the secret passage beneath Woodrow's house, then the Spark Twinkle will arrive to give Beep-0 the Scan Power. This power must be used to reveal invisible objects, which will help the heroes progress.

The Abandoned Well is where the Darkmess Tentacle is. The heroes must travel downward to reach the Tentacle.

The Blue Coin Challenge is found while traveling on the path to the Abandoned Well.

After completing the Bury the Hatchet Side Quest, the heroes have access to the A Dryad's Dream Side Quest, in which the heroes must help Sweetlopek and the Dryad get along. The heroes will be able to see the Dryad's nest, as well as her seed nursery.

A golden pipe leads to the Giant Depleter, but requires at least 24 Sparks to unlock. After defeating the Giant Depleter, the heroes are awarded a Gold Skill Prism.

SPELLBOUND WOODS

I can confirm that the Spellbound Woods of Palette Prime are breathtakingly beautiful, save for one minor flaw - long ago Rabbids dug a well deep into the forest, hoping to find the source of its famously colored leaves so they could use it to create new and exotically-colored pumpkin spices. They were shocked to instead find a secret room containing only riddles. They quickly abandoned it and fled.

Trivia[edit]

  • When the heroes enter Spellbound Woods for the first time, the dialogue exchange between Beep-0 and Rabbid Mario will change depending on the player having acquired the Scan Power or not:
    • If the player has not recruited Twinkle yet, Rabbid Mario proposes to burn the forest down, causing Beep-0 to object at first, then admit they should "look for some matches" just before Twinkle arrives.
    • However, if Beep-0 already has the Scan Power, he will simply refuse the idea and tell he will "try using Twinkle's power" instead.
