Leaping flames[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its port. They are encountered in Hot Rocket only, after the fireball bombard. As these fiery, serpent-like monsters emerge from lava, they begin chasing the Kongs, who are riding on a Rocket Barrel, by revolving around them on a short distance.
