Kutlasses are enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest only. They are small Kremlings wield two large cutlass swords roughly the size of their body. Kutlasses have either a yellow or a green body, the latter of which has quicker movements. They wear a black vest and a pirate hat which has the Kremling Krew insignia and red feathers on the side. Artwork shows that Kutlasses have three toes on each foot. They are said to have ordered their swords from an infomercial, which looked smaller on television.[1] Kutlasses are named after cutlass swords, but with a 'k' in place of a 'c'. If a Kutlass notices Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong, it runs toward them and tries to slash them with its swords.
