Icon for the Candies in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team

Candies are consumable items in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. It has a star-shaped appearance, and can be used by Mario or Luigi. When one of them eats it, they regain approximately 40% of their maximum Heart Points and Bros. Points. In Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, it can be bought from item shops at the start of the game for twenty-five coins. A couple of enemies have a chance of dropping them: Capnaps have a 2% chance of dropping a Candy when defeated, and Propellion has a 10% chance. They replace Golden Mushrooms and Star Candies from the previous installments, being both HP and BP restorative items. There are stronger variants of the regular Candies; Super Candies, Ultra Candies, and Max Candies.
