The Mario Tour is the ninety-first tour of Mario Kart Tour, which begins on March 8, 2023 and ends on March 21, 2023. Reflecting the theme, the tour features the introduction and classic course debut of Mario Circuit from Mario Kart DS, making this the second tour in a row to introduce a DS course. A day before the tour's trailer, Mario Circuit was also announced for the fourth wave of the Booster Course Pass DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which would release a day after the start of the Mario Tour.
This tour marks the first appearance of RMX Mario Circuit 1 since the 2022 Doctor Tour twenty-two tours prior, the first appearance of the aforementioned course's normal, R, and T variants since the Mii Tour twenty-six tours prior, and the first reappearance of RMX Donut Plains 1 after its debut in the Battle Tour eleven tours prior. It is also the first tour to introduce a recolor of the Pipe Buggy since the base kart's debut in the 2019 Halloween Tour eighty-eight tours prior, thus making it the longest gap of the kart's (and any item in general's) introduction and its first recolor variant.
The Mario event will begin in this tour.
