The Bowser Cup is a cup featured in various Mario spinoff titles. It first appears in Super Mario Strikers.
In Super Mario Strikers, the Bowser Cup can be unlocked by placing first in the Mushroom Cup, Flower Cup and Star Cup. In the Bowser Cup, there are eight teams competing. After seven rounds, the top four continue to the semifinals; if the player wins their way through the finals, they must play against the Super Team to win the Bowser Cup. Beating the Bowser Cup unlocks the Super Team as playable characters, also unlocking the Super Mushroom Cup and the Bowser Stadium. The Super Bowser Cup has a similar structure.
