A Guruguri, also referred to as a satellite,[1][2] is a spinning spiked object that only appears in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They only appear in the final stage of the Mario Zone. Guruguri are completely invincible obstacles that spin around spheres in a manner similar to a Roto-Disc or Kaitensuru Honō (with the Perfect Edition of the Great Mario Character Encyclopedia even suggesting that the Guruguri might be a mechanical version of the former),[3] though they are a bit slower.

Is it a mechanical version of Roto-Disc?
This is a character that just goes around and around the balls in a circle. They are similar to Roto-Discs (p. 67) in both movement and personality. It is also difficult to avoid them when they appear in large numbers.

Bio: 玉の周囲を回転している。トゲがついており、触れるとダメージを受ける。[4] (It rotates around the ball. It has spikes on it, and if you touch it, you will be damaged.)
