Stars[1] are enemies from the star stage of the Space Zone in Super Mario Land: 6 Golden Coins. One also appears at the end of the secret level of the Space Zone. Stars are treated more like obstacles than enemies, and can be found in clusters forming an impassable wall, and are sometimes found moving back and forth in space. Stars are the only enemy in the game that cannot be defeated, even with the help of a Super Star. A star going up and down on the star stage. If you approach them thinking they are invincible stars familiar to you from the Mario series, you are mistaken. Be careful not to touch the stars, or you will receive damage.
