Ball Beamers[1][2] are mechanical enemies with nuts on top of them that appear in Super Mario Galaxy. One also has a screw through the nut. Ball Beamers appear on opposite sides of spherical planets. Ball Beamers appear in the Buoy Base Galaxy and the Deep Dark Galaxy. They are immobile enemies that emit circular shockwaves that travel around the circumference of the planet, damaging Mario or Luigi if he touches them.
