Reflecting its theme, DK Pass from Mario Kart DS made a return, and a variant of Mario in his Santa outfit from Super Mario Odyssey was introduced. In this tour, festive trees were added on all courses featured; hitting one with an item during a race would grant "Happy Holidays!" bonus points. a - Starting from this tour to the 2020 Trick Tour (inclusive), packs introduced in the first week of the tour are no longer available during the second week of the tour. The same applies to the standard value pack. However, it worked differently from the other packs in that the value pack would be introduced in the first week, and then removed and replaced with another identical value pack (also containing 5 rubies, 2 star tickets, and 3 items tickets) in the second week. If the player purchased the value pack in the first week of the tour, the same exact value pack would reappear for the player to purchase a second time during the second week. However, if the player did not purchase the pack during the first week, it will still show that only one pack is available to purchase during the second week, as opposed to there being two available.
