Template:Kart-infobox The Pinch Hitter is a High-End kart in Mario Kart Tour. It is the signature kart of Mario (Baseball) debuting in the 2021 Los Angeles Tour. The kart is a small buggy with a hood resembling a baseball helmet, a seat resembling a baseball glove, and exhaust pipes resembling baseball bats with the Mario Kart logo. It uses white-rimmed versions of the Standard tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and the emblem appears at the front on the kart. The Pinch Hitter increases the duration of Slipstream boosts and the amount of points awarded for performing Slipstreams.
A white variant called the Cleanup Hitter was introduced alongside the Pinch Hitter in the 2021 Los Angeles Tour, and a black and gold variant named the Wild Slugger was introduced in the 2022 Los Angeles Tour. Like the Pinch Hitter, both have the High-End classification.
