Template:Kart-infobox The New Year's Kite is a High-End glider in Mario Kart Tour. It first appeared in the New Year's Tour and is the signature glider of Mario (Happi) and Lakitu (Party Time). The glider is a variant of the Full Flight themed around New Year's with rose blossoms decorating the edges. Unlike the Full Flight, collecting Coins from Item Boxes grants more points when using this glider. A golden variant of this glider, called the Gold New Year's Kite, debuts in the New Year's 2021 Tour. It is possible that the kanji on the glider, which translates to "New Year's Greetings", was written by Mario.[1]
