The Halloween Tour was the third tour of Mario Kart Tour, which began on October 23, 2019 and ended on November 5, 2019. Reflecting the Halloween theme, Luigi's Mansion from Mario Kart DS returned, while Rosalina in a witch outfit and King Boo in his Luigi's Mansion 3 appearance appeared as the spotlight characters. The tour also introduced a new bonus challenge, Time Trial. It was the first tour to not introduce a new city course, and thus the first tour to consist purely of classic courses. The menu's background featured Luigi's Mansion as the landmark for this tour. This was the final tour to feature 16 cups.

Signature kart sets
Drivers with a corresponding cup in the tour were bumped one rank up in every course of their cup. Each one had a specific kart and glider pair that were also bumped one rank up, though these sometimes changed between tours.
