This is the only galaxy within a dome in ''Super Mario Galaxy'' which requires a mission from outside a dome (Giant Eel Outbreak) to be completed to unlock it. This galaxy is also the dome-based galaxy which requires the most Power Stars to unlock. It needs 55 Power Stars, in comparison to the last galaxy to be unlocked in the [[Garden (Super Mario Galaxy)|Garden]] ([[Melty Molten Galaxy]]), which only requires 52 Power Stars.
