- Not to be confused with Ghost Rider.
Template:Kart-infobox The Ghost Ride is a kart that appears in Mario Kart Tour, classified as a High-End kart. It resembles a hearse with a grille resembling a scary face. The exhaust pipes come out from the front, similar to the Mini Beast from Mario Kart Wii. It is the signature kart of King Boo (Luigi’s Mansion). The emblem is located on the front, sides, and back of the kart. Its name is a pun on "ghost riding", the act of exiting a vehicle while it is still in motion and moving along or, in some cases, dancing on top of it. It uses the Off-Road tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. When using this kart, Rocket Starts last longer and yield more points than usual. A wedding-themed variant of this kart known as the Happy Ride, which is also classified as a High-End kart, appears in the game starting with the Peach Tour.
The Ghost Ride was available during the 2019 Halloween Tour as part of the second week spotlight, alongside King Boo (Luigi's Mansion) and the Rainy Balloons.
Profiles and statistics
- Mario Kart Tour Twitter: "The Ghost Ride is a new kart that looks like it came straight out of a graveyard! This one is sure to get you moving frightfully fast! It probably needs a driver though..."[1]
