It is a modified version of the Sushi Racer with a black and gold color scheme with a blue underbelly, red torpedo holes, and the front resembling a pirate's hat with two cutlasses. It is the third variation of a vehicle that was added into the game before the original kart, the first and second being the Gilded Prancer and the Dasher II. Like the Sushi Racer, it uses blue versions of the Metal tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Unlike the Sushi Racer, this kart increases the speed boosts and the amount of points resulted from performing Rocket Starts.
