Template:MKTTour The Los Angeles Tour is the twenty-seventh tour of Mario Kart Tour, which began on September 23, 2020 and will end on October 6, 2020. True to its name, the tour introduces a new course based on the real-life location of Los Angeles, California, aptly named Los Angeles Laps, marking the first instance of a tour taking place in another city in the same country as a previous tour (the New York Tour; both cities are in the United States), and the sixth city-based nitro course overall (with the last one being Vancouver Velocity in the Vancouver Tour, eight months prior). The Ferris wheel and the pier it takes place in likely references the Santa Monica Pier. This tour takes place during the game’s first anniversary. It also introduces a new variant of Mario based on his Sunshine outfit from Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Odyssey.
