- Not to be confused with Double Deck.
Template:Kart-infobox The Double-Decker is a kart that appears in Mario Kart Tour, classified as a High-End kart. Like the name suggests, it resembles a double-decker bus with a plaid-patterned seat similar to that of the Swift Jack. The emblem is located on the grille, sides, and trunk. It uses the Standard tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe; however, the original icon before Version 1.4.1 showed it with the Pipe Frame’s tires. The Double-Decker increases the speed boosts and points earned for driving over Dash Panels.
The kart was originally exclusive to the London Tour as a spotlight during the tour's second week. It returned to the Baby Rosalina Tour, where, in addition to being a spotlight kart, it also served as a reward to Gold Pass members upon getting 120 Grand Stars.
Profiles and statistics
- Mario Kart Tour Twitter:
- "The London Loop course wouldn't be complete without the Double-Decker kart! Be sure to try them both out in the London tour!"[1]
- "The Double-Decker is back from a tune-up and ready to hit the blue track again. Of course, it wouldn't be the same without Waluigi (Bus Driver) behind the wheel. He's gracing us with his presence and coming out of retirement for part two of the Baby Rosalina Tour!"[2]
