Cling Cobra's name is derived from king cobra, a type of real world venomous snake. Cling Cobras have a yellow body and an orange stripe spanning across their back. They have red eyes and a set of sharp teeth that match the yellow color of their body.
As their name suggests, Cling Cobras' main characteristic is to cling on to a grass patch, which they repeatedly move across. If a Cling Cobra slithers into Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, they lose a heart point. This sometimes also causes the Kongs to lose their balance and fall off the patch of grass.
