Satellites[1] are spinning spiked objects that appeared in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Their behavior is extremely similar to that of a Rotodisc or Kaitensuru Honō, although they are quite a bit slower. They appear in the final level of the Mario Zone and are found spinning around spheres. They cannot be defeated and will block Mario's path.
