Template:Character-infobox The Sewer Rat[1] is the boss of the Macro Zone in the game Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. He is a rat with a rather prominent nose which he apparently uses for defense. His fight is similar to the battle with Morton Koopa Jr. and Roy Koopa during the events of Super Mario World. The sewer rat will run up walls and into pipes and will eventually crawl to the top of the ceiling and fall straight onto Mario. If the plumber jumps on top of the giant rodent three times or hits him with six fireballs, the creature will be defeated. The rat will then fall off the screen, and Mario will get one of his six Golden Coins.
