Cannon Pigs are pig enemies found in Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins. They are most common in Mario Zone, where they can be found on Mario's hat and Mario's belly. They would also seem to populate the Moon, as well as other parts of Space Zone. Cannon Pigs shoot cannonballs (as their name would imply); they therefore serve the same purpose as Cannons. They can shoot cannonballs horizontally or diagonally. Mario could easily avoid these cannonballs by jumping on, jumping over, or running under them. Canonnon Pigs could be defeated by jumping on their heads or shooting a fireball at their backs. Three different colors of Cannon Pig exist, though the colors makes no difference in strength.
