World 2-Airship is the Airship course of World 2 and the first one in Super Mario 3D Land.
Layout
Mario starts out landing on an Airship, near three Rocket Engines and a tightrope that connects it to another Airship. A little further beyond, there is a flying Bill Blaster that shoots Bullet Bills toward the rope. On the next ship, there are three Bill Blasters and a Warp Box; following that is a third Airship with a Rocky Wrench. The flying Bill Blaster following this ship shoots Tail Bullet Bills. On the fourth and final Airship, Mario must enter a Warp Pipe to battle Boom Boom. After defeating him, another Warp Pipe will appear, leading Mario to the Airship with the Goal Pole.
Star Medals
- Star Medal 1: Mario must enter the Warp Box, and then find a small elevated area on the Airship with a blue Clock and a Star Medal.
- Star Medal 2: The second Star Medal sits above the Rocky Wrench on the third Airship, which can provide the boost needed to collect it.
- Star Medal 3: Once on the last ship, Mario must fall down to a lower area with several coins and the third Star Medal.
