Hotel Mario levels
Hi, so in addition to creating the Paper Mario: Sticker Star Scrap articles (finally), I've decided to start creating articles for levels in Hotel Mario. Since they use naming conventions of "Stage 1", "Stage 2", "Stage 3", etc., which conflict with Donkey Kong Jr.'s level names, I want to ask you: should those levels take precedence over the Hotel Mario levels, or should those titles be disambiguation pages? Thanks! (T|C) 02:52, 24 March 2018 (EDT)
Double RE:Scraps
Yeah, I saw your comment from the beginning. The problem is, what kind of discussion? After all, I already took part of your advice and purposefully didn't create an article on the useless block in Goomba Fortress, which is briefly a Scrap. (T|C) 08:09, 29 March 2018 (EDT)
- Sorry for my belated response. Should I instead create a page entitled something like List of paperized Scraps in Paper Mario: Sticker Star? (T|C) 10:38, 31 March 2018 (EDT)
Implementation
Hi, since my technical restrictions proposal passed, would you mind adding this to MarioWiki:Naming? Feel free to pick wherever you find the section most fitting. Thanks! (T|C) 01:03, 6 April 2018 (EDT)
- Oh, and would you also mind deleting the page when you're finished? There's not that much history to salvage. Thanks! (T|C) 01:05, 6 April 2018 (EDT)
Auto confirmed early
Super Mario Odyssey, I noticed, has a lot of red links. I'd like to fill in a lot of good pages that are missing. If you are pleased with my edits so far, is there any way you can get me auto-confirmed early? Tom Phan (talk) 02:56, 12 April 2018 (EDT)

Question concerning proposals
[You can answer here.]
I thought I'd just ask a random sysop, since I don't want to bother the same ones too much, but anyone can answer it.
So, if I had a proposal that's past its deadline and voted in by a majority, I gather that I could just go ahead and implement it?
I feel like MarioWiki:Proposals should be more clear, since just having a lumped, unsectioned 17 point list is really detrimental to a new user trying to understand all the finer details of proposals. Particularly lacking in that list is details of how proposals are closed: there are no clear instructions on who can close a proposal and how they would go about doing it. --The Retro Gamer 23:11, 27 April 2018 (EDT) (Edited for accuracy: 23:18, 27 April 2018 (EDT))
Re: Talk page response
Sorry, I wasn't exactly sure of the rules themselves, but since there were very few other people online, I didn't want their question to end up being fully missed and wholly unanswered.Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 12:41, 28 April 2018 (EDT)
There's also the fact that I've basically learned "Welcome, read the rules" as an acceptable greeting due to being the greeting used in the one fully-active Discord group (and as such, one tight social group) I am in. So I didn't think of it as rude, I thought of it as normal. Sorry. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 13:16, 28 April 2018 (EDT)
Super Mario series enemies section
Remember when, relatively shortly after I joined, I made a section on enemies and obstacles for the Super Mario series page that went for too long, so I had to shorten it. I decided to rework it again to tell more information in less space, as seen here. Would you consider this a step in the right direction? I removed a lot of simple rehash species that were on there, like Fire Piranha Plants and the various "Big" species, moving them to the new "Relatives in the series" section; the only ones I left were Koopa Paratroopas, Paragoombas, Dry Bones, and Galoombas. Protection issues
Hi, I'd like to ask: is it possible to reduce the time or level of protection for Luigi's girlfriend? The page was fully protected for one month by L151 a few days back, but IMHO that big of a protection was a tad unjustified. First, the page was never protected before. Second, there were only two vandals that edited the page - a persistent user and one IP, and I feel that in this case protection is only justified if accounts and IPs from a dynamic range vandalize the article, and even then only semi-protection at this point. Third, this is their first time vandalizing, so we don't yet even know their activity level enough to establish a protection that big. That being said, the only reason I'm contacting you is because you have much less involvement than L151, which makes it easier to settle disputed actions. That being said (again), I'm asking if you'd be willing to reduce the protection level; I'd suggest semi for one or two weeks, but I'm fine if you have a better solution. Thanks! (T|C) 18:48, 1 May 2018 (EDT)
- Taking into account their Twitter post, I'd now just recommend reduction to semi. However, I'm also suggesting that the page be regularly monitored for vandalism and fully protected for a few days where appropriate. (T|C) 19:58, 1 May 2018 (EDT)
- Actually, yeah... you do bring up a pretty good point. I didn't realize some of the subscribers she had were autoconfirmed already. :P
- I don't want another user to complain about this, so would it hurt just to change the protection reason to "Excessive vandalism by a user who asked for assistance on Twitter", or is that even possible? (T|C) 06:22, 2 May 2018 (EDT)
Copying information from The Cutting Room Floor

FA categories
Hi, would you mind cleaning up the severe disorganization in Category:FA succession archives and Category:Unfeaturing succession archives? By cleanup, I mean removing the category at the bottom (mostly found in the categories' respective "F" columns) as being redundant, and adding the |unfeature=yes
parameter to {{FA archive notice}} on unfeature nominations that currently don't have them. Additionally, if you don't mind doing additional cleanup work, you could track my recent contributions and apply full protection to the nomination pages I've already fixed. Thanks! - Some mobile users use the desktop layout, so it won't be tagged with that. I think it's hardware-related, not browser. I need to do more research on this, however. Ray Trace(T|C) 23:59, 29 May 2018 (EDT)

- Not sure what you mean by that. If you mean they were editing while the previous edit was already done, there would've been an edit conflict, and it definitely looked like it was made afterwards (with the correct "Layout" header intact). Out of curiosity, though, can anyone link me an instance where this missing-section issue has happened? Mario JC 00:48, 30 May 2018 (EDT)

So sorry about that; maybe I should have started a discussion before moving those pages. Priority question
Hi, I'd like to ask you a question about what takes priority in a scenario (don't worry, it's not the Boomer case this time around, and again, my most sincere apologies for not bothering to discuss this first). What I want to know is, should one-time human characters in the first few Mario Golf / Mario Tennis games take precedence over characters-of-the-day in certain Saturday Supercade episodes? Namely, I'm referring to Brian and Sonny. Any thoughts on the matter? (T|C) 09:29, 11 June 2018 (EDT)
Frantic Fields
It's definitely a stretch to say that Frantic Fields' track is inspired by Haunted Chase, but the ball seems to be in the park. I do believe the music from Frantic Fields contains some hints from one of the tracks in DKC2, "Run, Rambi! Run", which plays when the big zinger chases you in Rambi Rumble. If you listen closely, you can hear the resemblance at some point. Would it be appropriate to mention it in DKCTF's media page? -- -- KOOPA CON CARNE 02:46, 12 June 2018 (EDT)

Kalimari Desert trivia
Hello. You removed my trivia about Kalimari Desert being the only Mushroom Cup track to return in the leaf cup. However, your reasoning being and I quote: "A lot of tracks have originated from one cup and reappeared in another (e.g. Koopa Troopa Beach) so this isn't noteworthy." I am aware of this although my Trivia point was that it was the only Mushroom Cup track to return in the Leaf Cup. So how would this not be noteworthy? TheIceCream (talk) 06:09, 16 June 2018 (EDT)
Purpose of the following category
Hi, is it okay if Category:Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Karts gets merged into Category:Mario Kart 8 Karts without a discussion? The reason I ask is because Mario Kart 8 Deluxe only features three vehicle parts not present in the original (Inkstriker, Koopa Clown, and Splat Buggy), and I feel that that little of a change doesn't on its own warrant separate subcategories for originals/remakes. Thanks! (T|C) 01:40, 17 June 2018 (EDT)
- Okay, thanks very much. (T|C) 08:20, 17 June 2018 (EDT)
- I've changed my mind in favor of keeping those two categories separate. Since the other two vehicle parts I mentioned are both ATVs, is it alright if, say, Category:Mario Kart 8 Bikes, Category:Mario Kart 8 Tires, and Category:Mario Kart 8 Gliders be subcategories of Category:Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, since there would be virtually zero differences otherwise? After all, Category:Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Race Courses isn't separate from Category:Mario Kart 8 Race Courses. (T|C) 08:37, 17 June 2018 (EDT)

I would have done it later when I was on a PC (bear in mind I was on the Wii U browser, and that is downright awful for... well, just about everything, but trying to type anything especially. Jerry
Hi, should Jerry from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door necessarily take priority over Jerry from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story? I'm just asking because an admin made Jerry from PMTTYD the primary topic back in 2015 on the basis that "it's more likely to be searched for than the other Jerry", which honestly I think is flawed, especially since both are minor characters that only have a few lines of dialogue each. Additionally...
Hi, as per this proposal (ironically related to your most recent proposal), I hope you don't mind adding the following to the list of frequently misused terms:
Outer space
"Outer space" generally refers to the open, near-empty space outside the gravitational sphere of any celestial body. However, it is misconstrued to say that every location with the comical black "starry sky" background is in outer space, as the games mostly treat it as a backdrop of some sorts, such as the case with Gravity Galaxy. To add to the illogicalities, some locations are only temporarily in outer space, such as Peach's Castle during the events of Paper Mario and Super Mario Galaxy. "Cosmic", on the other hand, refers to something pertaining to outer space, and should be used instead in most cases.
Feel me to reach out to me or Super Radio if you have any changes you wish to make. The proposal that dictates this (which I linked to at the beginning of this section) should also help you if I missed anything. Thanks! (T|C) 00:37, 29 June 2018 (EDT)
My rename request
I think my rename request may of have been overlooked, I done it last night and it hasn't been looked at yet, also it is the same requested name change as my failed one, my failed one was posted too early, so I hope you can look at it. White Lightning 18:25, 1 July 2018 (EDT)
Proposal issue + what should be the identifier
Hi, should this proposal have a "keep split" option? I'm just asking because ever though the proposer pointed out that the Meta Ridley page's existence is already "against policy" as per this proposal, the proposer of that proposal treated it as if it's better off as an actual discussion over whether it stays or goes as a way of clarifying the Super Smash Bros. coverage overhaul. (At least that's what I can infer.)
Additionally, while I still have you... Since there's now a stage hazard named "fountain" in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle's Donkey Kong Adventure mode, what identifier should the existing "Fountain" page use: Fountain (place), Fountain (dome), or Fountain (world)? (T|C) 00:44, 4 July 2018 (EDT)
Prince Froggy
Is my edit correct? Here. I putted between After enough hits, and the part Yoshi escapes through Froggy's intestines "the stomach and the uvula flash and". Should it be edited if you check it or should we leave it like that? --83.156.220.80 07:41, 5 July 2018 (EDT)
- Also, from what i saw in this page, Prince Froggy is considered as a normal Frog Pirate in the original Japanese version. --83.156.220.80 07:44, 5 July 2018 (EDT)
- I edited the page again, because when you hit the uvula each hit before the last one, it only flash to white, so i edited it to make it say "flash to various colors". I think it's fine. --83.156.220.80 07:55, 5 July 2018 (EDT)

Yoshi's Island Koshiki Guidebook
Hi there. Are the sprites directly ripped from the game or not? I know there a vector or pixel graphic depending on the system, but this one has a few errors of drawing. Look! One of the Piranha Plant's teeth doesn't look like in-game. The Shy Guy's mouth, one of Dizzy Dandy's teeth, Eggo-Dil's cheeks have a round shape instead of a swirl one, also, some pixels don't have the same size in-game, and some are disproportionnal here, a bit misplaced. Are they redrawn from the game or ripped? --83.156.220.80 02:39, 18 July 2018 (EDT)
