What did I do wrong (you wrote this in your message: This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (edit warring) on the Super Mario Wiki. I don't even know what "edit warring" means! (Posted by Bwario).
- I'm not a staff member, but edit warring is when multiple users constantly undo each other's edits on a page. You've been adding cameos on the "Easter Eggs" page when they are not actually Easter Eggs, and thus were in an edit war with Nightwicked Bowser. Please listen to his advice.

- Here's what I had to do to find all these Donkey Kong related things in Super Mario Odyssey and collecting things related to Donkey Kong in Super Mario Odyssey for the Easter egg page was also difficult... Although it is true that it is more of a reference to another game, but they were hidden. (Posted by Bwario, 8:17, April 4, 2024) (EDT).

I've got a question about a proposal that I made.
Hello! I was wondering if you've played Princess Peach: Showtime enough to help me out with something. I made this proposal recently. I thought all was well and that my reasoning was correct until I noticed something on the Radiant Peach page. There is a currently-unmade page titled Sparkla Spirit that I think may be exactly what Stella was referring to in the quote that I based my proposal evidence around. If this is the case, it would mean that I'd have to change and/or delete my proposal as it would not be needed. However, I have not made it to the part of the game where the Sparkla Spirit(s) are directly mentioned, so I don't know what to do. Can you please help me figure this out by reading my proposal and getting back to me on whether it's necessary for me to keep it up? If you haven't played Princess Peach: Showtime! enough to help me, can you please point me to someone who you know has played through the game enough to verify my proposal evidence and/or could help me take my next steps? I need a page deleted.
Hello! I uploaded a MP4 media file recently that I meant to use as a video clip. However, it was uploaded as an audio file and not a video file. I then converted it to a GIF and attempted to upload a new version of the file, only for the wiki to stop me with an error message. I would like for the file that I uploaded (and its corresponding page) to be deleted, as the file is useless now that I have it as a GIF. Once the file is deleted, I will upload my GIF file. Please delete the page as soon as possible. The page is File:PPS Transformation Cutscene.mp4. I already contacted Mario (talk) about this, but I have gotten no response. I am sending a nearly identical message to Nightwicked Bowser (talk) because I want this done as soon as possible. Marking edits as minor
Hello Mario jc, so we noticed that you are mostly marking edits as minor, even though you are making major changes to pages instead of minor ones. We also noticed that you also mark edits as minor when you are undoing edits by other users, which nobody else has done in the Wiki, you should not mark edits as minor when you are undoing because nobody else does it, the only time you should do minor edits is if you are doing spelling corrections, fixing the capitalization, or fixing the punctuation. Redirects
I'm questioning about our current practice of piping links to avoid redirects. Someone asked exactly why we do this, and I thought about reasons but they didn't really connect well. Wikipedia has a rundown on why linking to redirects on articles is actually good practice (and probably better than piping), and the reasons here seem solid. I know we're not Wikipedia, but it's hard to argue against the reasoning itself.

- I mean, the same thing about there being "nothing wrong with it" can be said about actively fixing links to redirects too. And it's unlikely there'll be a Mario-centric subject named "Sonic" that's just as let alone more prominent than Sonic the Hedgehog that will take over that article title (going by that first "reason not to bypass"), and we use piped links for a lot of text already where it's necessary (second reason). I assume Porple had a reason for establishing the rule (I always assumed it was a technical reason) so maybe ask him.

RPG lists question.
Hi, I have a question: You know how List of ? Blocks in Paper Mario: The Origami King includes both visible and hidden blocks, right? Probably because it has a semi-block counter (the % one). I've wondered, should I combine the page I'm working on right now (List of blocks in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions) with the one for the hidden blocks from the same game (List of hidden blocks in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions )? I thought about it because these two games are the only ones that take the hidden blocks into account while counting the blocks in their in-game counters, unlike Paper Jam and Bowser's Inside Story remake (due to having none or very little hidden blocks). I would mark the hidden ones with the icon in the form of the Secret Specs sprite. So, what do you think? - Imo, creating a redirect to that page on List of treasure boxes in Super Mario RPG (Nintendo Switch) would be sufficient. Contrary to the bestiary and other stuff in the PMTTYD remake, this one has same locations for everything, barring some content of chests changing. Makes sense to me to keep it to one page. Well, I have finished with remake of PMTTYD and already uploaded images for Treasure/Black Chests. I will do rest over the course of this week, but I have a question: The area east of the Petalburg is named Petal Meadows in the original but Path to Shhwonk Fortress and Shhwonk Fortress in the remake. But only the first screen is considered PtSF and the rest as SF (on the map and when UI appears). But Goombella's area Tattle considers all screens before the screen after the Thwomp as PtSF. My question is: When I will add remake info and images to the pages, should I go by map/UI or Goombella's area tattle? Ghost House formatting
Hello Mario jc, so I've noticed some pages with the word Ghost House in them, for example in the New Super Mario Brothers series, but here's one problem, and that is that some of the words reading Ghost House sometimes do not have links and are sometimes lowercased (e.g. ghost house instead of Ghost House), this really needs to be changed to match the formatting: Ghost House, but do not put the link if it is too close, and do not put the italic text at all. Broken reference in Luigi's page

The Famicom Disk System did release in Hong Kong
Just to be clear, yes Nintendo officially did release the Disk System in Hong Kong. This commercial is more than enough proof that this is a legitimate release. The release year for both the Famicom and Disk System is a bit unclear but it's speculated to have released around 1991 around the exact same time as the Hong Kong Famicom as seen in this video from the 1991 holiday season. Wiki slowing down
Hello Mario jc, is it just me or is this Wiki slowing down? When I open pages, the page slows down the loading and when it finishes loading in, the files slowly load in, when I stop loading the page, I cannot see the files and all I can see is just the file's link. Hi, Mario jc! I noticed that we are using an outdated name for the Brazilian rating board, "DEJUS", in the ratings template. No recent official material cites that agency; the practical guide (https://www.gov.br/mj/pt-br/assuntos/seus-direitos/classificacao-1/paginas-classificacao-indicativa/CLASSINDAUDIOVISUAL_Guia_27042022versaofinal.pdf) is attributed to the DPJUS, and the official site (https://www.gov.br/mj/pt-br/assuntos/seus-direitos/classificacao-1) also mentions the Coordenação de Política de Classificação Indicativa. Wikipedia changed their article name back in 2014.
The most appropriate name to use would be ClassInd, shortening of "Classificação Indicativa", the name of the platform that publishes the ratings, and the one commonly used on the official sites and documents (and in general by the media and audiences). Wikipedia also uses ClassInd in the first line of their article.
Would that warrant a proposal? I feel like it wouldn't, but if we were to change it, 50+ articles would need to be edited, so I just wanted to be sure first. Thanks in advance! Yook Bab-imba 22:15, June 5, 2024 (EDT)

Lowercase instead of capital letters
Hello Mario jc, so it turns out that you reversed my edit in the Frosted Glacier page where I put the following words Castle, Ghost House, and Tower in lowercase, the reason why this was done is because these words are not proper nouns in a name or a Mario game from the Super Mario (franchise). English does not use capital letters in paragraphs unless if it is the word at the start of the paragraph or proper nouns, like Mario and Bowser as an example, so can we lowercase these page links please? Hello Mario jc, so I responded to your message about the formatting of Ghost House, here's an example of it being in lowercase, I kindly ask you to go to the Frosted Glacier page, then look under the page history and click on the revision that was made on March 17, 2024, as that is the revision before I started changing that page, then look under the levels section, then look at the New Super Mario Bros. Transclusions
I see you've been helping Mid with his RPG item lists (and they're really helpful, good work to both!). I want to transclude some sections from list articles (Pi'illo#Pi.27illo_locations, List of beanholes in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, List of real world blocks in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team) onto the area articles (Mushrise Park, Dozing Sands, etc). I think it's more useful than just a small link, readers are more likely to look up the area name than a list of blocks, articles for the later Paper Mario games already do it, and I'm planning to trim down the current item lists to remove the ones already included in the block sections to avoid redundancy. Hammer Bro formatting
Hello Mario jc, so I've been a bit concerned in some instances where people are writing Hammer Bros. or any other Bros. without the period after the "S" (e.g. [[Hammer Bro]]s instead of [[Hammer Bro]]s.). The reason there is a period at the end is because "Bro" stands for "Brother", so if there was a letter that stands for something else, you would put the period at the end, and I think that the period after "Bros" looks much better. Did many anonymous editors vandalize it at one stage and it getting reverted and them getting banned or did it have information that anonymous editors changed at one stage making it completely false? "expand" template
Hi. Why do we have {{rewrite}} and {{rewrite-expand}} but no {{expand}}? The new template could be used to mean "This article is incomplete, but the existing parts are OK and don't need be rewritten". Although {{stub}} addresses such cases, it is less eye-catching for editors and less feature-complete.
