Tree sap,[1] or simply sap,[2] appears in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins as a gelatinous substance in the In the Trees stage that can be used to get across spikes by jumping inside and "swimming" through it to a safe area. Tree sap is commonly swum around in by Moofish. Tree sap is on nearly every wall and also fills the small gaps between floors.
