The Donkey Kong Country television series theme song plays during the show's opening. The lyrics and melody of the theme song were written by Pure West.[1] There is also an instrumental version used in the end credits.

The Japanese version of the show uses two other theme songs instead: "Ashita ni Nattara..." as the opening theme and "Banana Tengoku" as the ending theme.
