Mega Rocky Wrench Wreckers is a boss minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. In Party-Planner Trek, the boss is fought after at least 30 Mini Stars are collected in Rainbow Galleria.
Introduction[edit]
The players are on a ship with cannons and manholes in front of them. Suddenly, Mega Rocky Wrench comes out of the top middle manhole, surprising the players. The players attempt to shoot him with their cannons, but Mega Rocky Wrench retreats back into the manhole and escapes.
Gameplay[edit]
In this minigame, players must defeat Mega Rocky Wrench while trying to score the most points to win by shooting him with their cannons. They must also shoot down small wrenches, which are thrown by smaller Rocky Wrenches peaking from other manholes. Each of the four small Rocky Wrenches throws a wrench, with one wrench headed towards each player. Players earn a point for each time they hit Mega Rocky Wrench with their cannon and lose a point each time they are hit by a wrench.
When Mega Rocky Wrench's health is depleted to half or less, he moves more quickly, making it harder to shoot him before he retreats. Also, the small Rocky Wrenches start to throw more wrenches at a time, meaning that players must shoot down more wrenches to avoid losing points. In addition, Mega Rocky Wrench sometimes throws a huge wrench of his own, and it must be shot down multiple times to be destroyed. Players that are hit by the big wrench lose five points. If three minutes pass, all players will consequently lose.
Ending[edit]
Once the final hit is completed, Mega Rocky Wrench moves erratically and collapses into the manhole. The manholes then explode and launch the smaller Rocky Wrenches skyward in the process. Afterwards, the game cuts to the players on the ship Mega Rocky Wrench was destroyed on, where the winners and losers perform their respective animations. If three minutes pass, all players will perform their losing animations.
