- “Oh, dear! We've somehow entered Bowser's Enchanted Inferno! And it's not enchanting at all! Bowser's Enchanted Inferno is an amusement park composed of 4 islands. Make your way around them and pay coins for Stars. When it's Bowser Time, he sinks an island! This is no joke! You'll often cut off from the Star! I'm sure that Koopa Kid is up to no good, too... Keep a sharp eye!”
- —Toadsworth, Mario Party 7
Bowser's Enchanted Inferno! is a board built by Bowser in Mario Party 7. This is an amusement park, and is the second one he has made in the Mario Party series, the other one being Bowser Land in Mario Party 2. The board looks like it is in a huge red dome, and is surrounded by a sea of lava. Here, Spiked Goombas are in charge of the Orb Shops and the Koopa Kids are in charge of the attractions. The board is composed of four islands (three if an island is sunk due to Bowser Time). The goal of the board is to exchange 20 coins for Stars (10 coins in the last four turns if the event is selected).
There are no Bowser Spaces (and, by extension, Bowser minigames) on this board despite being a Bowser board. It shares this trait with Bowser's Pinball Machine from Mario Party DS. The Bowser Space still appears on the board results screen, though.
In Solo Cruise, a player has to beat their opponent by getting a Star, then racing back to the start. The ? Space that summons Klepto in Party Mode now causes Bowser to sink the island with the Star. When a player makes it back to the Start Space with the Star, Bowser then appears to take them to his castle to play the minigame Bowser's Lovely Lift! Winning the minigame wins the game, and unlocks Bowser's board for use in Party Cruise.
Events[edit]
- Players that land on the Green Space next to the pedestals over the lava must play the "Happy Hopscotch Grounds" game, where a player has to jump over three sets of two pedestals. For each set, one of the pedestals sink into the lava if stepped on, making players lose 10 coins. If the player makes it across safely, they win a Star. This is luck-based; the chance of winning is 1 in 8, or 12.5%.
- On the left island, landing on the Green Space next to the roller coaster lets players ride on it and collect coins as it goes down to the lower part of the island.
- The Green Spaces at the top of the bottom island and also on the right side of the left island make Klepto appear and take the Star to another location.
- The Green Space in front of the Mecha-Bowser flamethrower causes it to fry everyone within three spaces of that spot (taking up five spaces total) for ten coins.
- The Green Spaces on the left and right sides of the top island force a player to fight Koopa Kid in a sumo match. Pushing him off the platform awards the player 20 coins, but they lose 10 if Koopa Kid shoves them off first.
- Every island has a Green Space next to a cannon, where if landed on, Koopa Kid appears and throws the player in. They are then blasted to another island on the board.
- There are also certain Green Space Events exclusive to the Solo Cruise version of the board. If a player lands on them, Bowser does exactly what he does at Bowser Time, sinking the island with the Star, and sending every player on that island back to the start, losing half of their coins or a Star in the process.
Bowser Time[edit]
During Bowser Time, Bowser sinks whichever island is holding the Star; players that are currently on the island when it sinks lose half of their coins and are sent back to the start. The Star then relocates to another island. The island remains sunk until the next Bowser Time, 5 turns later. Unlike in Solo Cruise, players do not lose a Star if they are on the island with the Star when this event occurs.
