Light-Wave Battle is a 4-Player minigame appearing in Super Mario Party Jamboree.
Introduction
The player on the top left ground pounds the button below them, sending a ring of light in which the other players jump over.
Gameplay
Each of the four players are placed on a circular device at game start. By performing Ground Pounds on a button, a ring of light is emitted in the direction of the other players, in a similar fashion to Pulse Beams. Getting hit by a ring of light stuns the player for a few seconds; getting hit three times eliminate them. Ground Pounding closer to the ground makes the rings go slower, while ground pounding at the maximum height of the character's jump makes the rings go faster. Ring can be evaded by jumping over them, either with a regular jump or a Ground Pound. The game ends either when one or no players remain (possible through double elimination) or the time limit is depleted. Depending on the game's end, the winning players are, respectively, the last surviving player, the players who where last eliminated, or the surviving player(s) with the least damage taken upon time out.
Ending
The players stand in front of the arena, celebrating or pouting their victory or loss.
