Slappy-Go-Round is a Duel minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. The name is a pun on the term "merry-go-round."

Introduction

In an arena, a large mechanical hand swings to the left and then to right before stopping. As the players take their places on two silver buttons, a Hammer Bro rings a bell.

Gameplay

The players must Ground Pound the buttons to activate the hand and slap their opponent. If a player jumps over the hand, it will automatically slap the player who activated it. The minigame ends after a player has taken five slaps or 60 seconds have passed. Whichever player has taken the least amount of damage wins.

Ending

The winning player performs their victory animation for the crowd as the losing player performs their defeat animation.

Controls

  • Single Joy-Con Right Button – Jump
  • Single Joy-Con Right Button Single Joy-Con Right Button – Ground Pound

In-game text

Do a Ground Pound to spin the hand and hit your opponent, and dodge it with a jump. If your opponent dodges, the hand hits you. If you get hit five times, you lose!
