A Bowser Jr. Block is an electronic interactive block that currently only appears in the queue of the Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown challenge at Super Nintendo World locations in Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Hollywood. It is a green, glowing block that displays the red-orange emblem of Bowser Jr.. When punched from below, the block will glow brighter and trigger a gust of wind to blow from a vent in the wall perpendicular to it as a playful jumpscare element for park visitors.
Visitors who punch the Bowser Jr. Block whilst wearing a Power-Up Band will be rewarded the "First Punch" stamp, as well as 45 coins within the official Universal Studios smartphone application found on the App Store and Google Play Store
Bowser Jr. Blocks are heavily inspired by Baddie Boxes, even using the same design as Baddie Boxes in Super Mario 3D Land, but instead of displaying Bowser's emblem, Bowser Jr.'s is present.
