Toad, Super Mario Party

King Bob-omb's Powderkeg Mine (known as Gold Rush Mine in Partner Party) is one of the four available boards in Super Mario Party. It is available from the start. This takes place inside a mine deep underground, with machinery and other objects to support King Bob-omb's foothold here.

If the player passes the Bob-omb on the conveyor belt at the top of the map, they gain a Bob-omb ally for three turns. Unlike other allies that add 1 or 2 to the player's rolls, the Bob-omb ally either does not add to the dice roll or subtracts 1 from the total dice roll. If the player already has four allies when they pass by the Bob-omb, it will replace one of their allies.

Mario Party[edit]

Events[edit]

  • Conveyor Belt Reversal!: The active conveyor belt switches to the other conveyor belt.
  • Royal Explosion!: In the center of the stage is King Bob-omb's court. Landing on any of the four Event Spaces inside will cause the countdown to decrease by 1. Once it reaches 0, King Bob-omb will start to explode, and any player caught in the event while inside the court when he does will lose half of their coins. The countdown for King Bob-omb starts at 5.
  • Welcome to the Mine Cart!: Bob-ombs in two opposite corners of the board will allow the player to ride mine carts to transport themselves to the other side.
  • Gold-Mine Gamble: The player can mine up to three times for coins. However, the pickaxe has a chance of breaking each time; if it does, the player loses any coins they would have gained in this event.

Events[edit]

  • Conveyor Belt Reversal!: The conveyor belt moves in the opposite direction.
  • Royal Explosion!: In the center of the stage is King Bob-omb's court. Landing on any space inside may randomly activate a trigger that forces the player to hit a block on them to stop the roulette, and the countdown will decrease from 1 to 5 depending on which number the block stops at. Once it reaches 0, King Bob-omb will start to explode, and any player caught in the event while inside the court when he does will lose half of their coins (even if both teammates are caught). The countdown for King Bob-omb starts at 10.
  • Unnamed Mine Cart event: Bob-ombs running the mine carts will try to find a Hidden Block Card or a Golden Pipe in the mines. The player has to wager coins first (from 1 to 10), and the result can be either the Hidden Block Card or Golden Pipe, a different item, or nothing at all.
  • Dig for Gold!: Once a team member finds a Pickaxe located on the board, they can mine for gold, but also have to be careful to not break the pickaxe, otherwise they cannot mine for more gold.
  • Golden Opportunity!: Once a team member finds a Pickaxe located on the board, they can mine for a Star.
