Gramps.

Gramps is Toad's grandfather who appeared in the The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! during the episode Escape From Koopatraz. He is a purple capped, eldery Toad, and was captured by King Koopa, who locked him in Koopatraz State Prison many, many years ago.

Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool helped him get out of Koopatraz.
