Template:Species-infobox Shield Guys are a variant of Shy Guy in Paper Mario: Color Splash. Shield Guys hold wooden shields, which they use to guard themselves. Their shields do not completely block attacks, but they do cause them to avoid most of the damage. Shield Guys attack Mario by hitting him with their shield, causing him to take 10 HP of damage. Shield Guys can appear in red, yellow, or blue.
