Trivia
- This is the first Mario & Sonic game to feature the new Sonic voice actors, with the exception of Dr. Eggman, who kept his voice actor.
- This title's box art will apparently be using a different color scheme than the traditional white coloring, using the color yellow instead.[19] It'll be the second Wii title in the Mario series to do this; New Super Mario Bros. Wii was the first, where its box art was colored red.
- If counting the Japanese boxart of Donkey Kong Country Returns (whose banner was green), it is the third.
