Stay On the Hazardous Highway! is a 4-player minigame in Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Wii).

Gameplay[edit]

Players race along a 600m highway full of hazardous obstacles, including pits and buses. Falling into a pit, hitting an obstacle, or staying too far off-screen results in disqualification. The player wins if they reach the goal or all of their opponents have been disqualified.

Controls[edit]

Wii Remote held sideways

  • +Control PadControl Pad: Move
  • Two Button: Jump

Wii Remote and Nunchuk

  • Control Stick: Move
  • A Button: Jump

In-game text[edit]

Objective: Stay in till the end!

  • Dodge left/right to avoid obstacles. Make it to the goal or be the last one racing to win. Avoid pits and buses.
  • You lose if you fall in a pit, hit an obstacle, or go off-screen. Shake the Wii Remote quickly to get up.
  • You will also win if the other racers are disqualified, so trying to get in their way is another good strategy.
