Trampoline is a Gymnastics Event that appears in the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The objective of the event is to score the most points, with the event taking place in the North Greenwich Arena. Mario can be seen competing in this event in the game's opening. The starting Olympic record in this event is held by Blaze at 28.50 points.

Gameplay[edit]

This events starts with the player's character being announced, before showing character on the trampoline. The player must then start by swinging up or waiting a bit. However, the character will just jump. When the character approaches the Trampoline, the player needs to swing up with good timing to go higher, but will jump long matter. Being too late or too early results in bad. When the player gets enough height (which they eventually do), then the player uses the Wii Remote in five different ways up to two to five times, depending on the accurately and the height they do it. Normally, they are straight, but holding the B Button button results in them being piked instead for a total of ten different moves. The moves are Right Rotation by swinging the Wii Remote left, Left Rotation by swinging the Wii Remote right, Somersault by swinging the Wii Remote down, Somersault Right Twist by twisting the Wii Remote clockwise, and Somersault Left Twist by twisting the Wii Remote counterclockwise. After jumping ten times (five in London Party), the character stops and the player is given a place based on the score. If multiple people are playing, it goes to the next person.
