The Extension Corps are the lieutenants of Zokket's army, Zok Troops, and the secondary antagonists in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. The trio consists of Ecks, Ten, and Shun,[1] and their names are a pun on the word "extension."

Description

Each member of the Extension Corps is based on a different type of electrical connector, which is reflected by their collective name, a pun on "extension cord". Ecks can float, is magenta in color and wears a yellow cape with arms that resemble spade connectors. Ten resembles a headphone jack composed of his head resembling a male connector and one of his arms resembling a female connector. His design is invocative of a stereotypical delinquent in Japanese culture. The third one is named Shun whose body resembles a VGA connector.

The Extension Corps share many similarities to the Best Fitness Friends from the Bowser Jr.'s Journey side mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, and have a similar eye design to Antasma from Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, the Dark Star from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, and Princess Shroob from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

Unlike other members of the Zok Troops who were artificially created, the Extension Corps existed prior to Zokket and were recruited by him on Slippenglide Island.
