Type Boss minigame

Boss Sumo Bro Blitzers is a boss minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. In Party-Planner Trek, the boss is fought after collecting at least 30 Mini Stars in Roll 'em Raceway.

Introduction

At the very start of the minigame, the Boss Sumo Bro. lowers down to within view of the camera on his cloud and roars before stomping on his platform. This creates an electrical discharge at the opposite end of a disassembled circuit to where the characters are standing.

Gameplay

At the beginning of each round, the Sumo Bro will stomp, creating an electrical charge at the far end of a disassembled circuit. Players have forty-five seconds to reassemble the circuit to damage the boss. How many points players get depends on the order in which they complete the circuit: five points for the fastest, three points for the second-fastest, two points for the second-slowest and a single point for the slowest. Players who fail to reassemble the circuit get attacked and are docked three points.

Once the boss is at half health, four small-sized Sumo Bros will appear, one for each player. They will regularly appear on their respective player's boards, striking a random tile and making it rotate clockwise 90 degrees.

Ending

Upon defeat, the Boss Sumo Bro falls down from his platform as his minions follow suit, only to be blown back by an explosion.
