Description | Attention shoppers! There are all sorts of deals in store for you at Rainbow Galleria! Collect stamps for rewards and go on a spending spree during the flash sale. |
Rainbow Galleria is a board that appears in Super Mario Party Jamboree. It takes place in a shopping mall that consists of a ground floor and two elevated floors, which can be climbed up towards or climbed down from through pink and blue escalators. Players can also use the elevator to go between the ground floor and top floor, but they must pay 5 coins to enter it.[1][2] In this board, a flash sale will occasionally take place, in which Stars and items[2] can be purchased for half the price for one turn. There appears to be a number of shops, such as one with a Peepa and a Boo Bell design motif. There are also four colored stamp stations (green, blue, pink, and orange) located throughout the board. If a player collects all four stamps, they receive 50 coins.[3]
Events
Mechanics
- Flash sale: Every fifth turn, there is a flash sale where all items and Stars are sold at half price (rounded down), except for the One-Coin Shop. The flash sale lasts one turn.
Event Spaces
These special shops can only be visited by landing on either of the two Event Spaces in front of them (except Boo Shop, which has only one Event Space in front of it).
- Last-Place Shop: The leftmost shop on the third floor is this special shop that can only be visited by the player in last place. This last place player receives 15 coins and can buy an item from this shop, even if the 15-coin bonus would make this player no longer in last place. Nothing happens if a player not in last place stops here.
- Super Shop: One of the shops on the third floor is this special shop, which sells potentially game-changing items, such as a Super Dueling Glove for 40 coins.
- Gold Shop: One of the shops on the third floor is this special shop, which sells "gold items" such as Payday Double Dice, Payday Triple Dice, Golden Pipe.
- Thrift Store: Landing on either of the two Event Spaces on the far right of the third floor causes Whomp to forcefully buy one of the items that the player has, but in exchange, the player receives an amount of coins equal to twice the original cost in the shop.
- Boo Shop: One of the shops on the second floor is this shop, which only sells a single item, Boo Bell for 15 coins.
- Drawing: On the second floor, landing on either of the two Event Spaces in front of the Raffle Shop allows the player to participate in this event if they have previously bought items. The player gets to make one drawing per item purchased, and can win either 1, 5, 15, 30 coins, or a Golden Pipe respectively for drawing a white, green, blue, red or golden ball.
Passing Spaces
- Koopa Troopa Stamp Stations: There are four coloured stamp staions on the board: blue on the first floor, pink on the second floor, orange and green on the third floor. The player can collect each stamp for their Stamp Sheet by simply passing through the matching stamp station. At any time, the player can pass through the Stamp Rally Reception desk on the first floor to exchange it for coins based on how many stamps they collected (10, 20, 30 or 50 respectively for one, two, three or all four stamps collected) and receive another Stamp Sheet. If the player reaches Stamp Rally Reception desk without a full Stamp Sheet, they may also choose to not receive coins and continue collecting stamps for more coins.
- Elevator: When passing through the elevator on the first floor or the third floor, they may respectively choose to go up to the third floor or go down to the first floor, for a price of 5 coins per character (so 10 coins if the player has a Jamboree Buddy).
- One-Coin Shop: One of the shops on the ground floor is the special One-Coin Shop, where all items cost only one coin at all times, including flash sale.
