Template:PM badge infobox/new Last Stand is a badge in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In Paper Mario, it is found in a treasure chest in Peach's Castle by either Mario or Princess Peach (in the latter case it can be sent to Mario via the Mysterious Treasure Chest), and in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it can be found in Glitzville, inside a big blue metal crate on the ground in the hallway of the Glitz Pit, bought from the Lovely Howz of Badges for 50 coins, or stolen from Hyper Goombas, Hyper Spiky Goombas, Hyper Paragoombas, and Green Fuzzies. If equipped, Mario takes half damage when in Danger. This damage rounds down in Paper Mario and was changed to round up in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In the latter game, if more than one Last Stand is equipped, the damage is reduced instead to one divided by one more than the number of equipped badges, rounded up.
