Mecha Sonic,[1] also known as Robo Sonic,[2] is a crossover character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a robot replica of Sonic, just like Metal Sonic. Mecha Sonic appear briefly in the Super Mario franchise within the game Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 as a boss in the Tokyo Sky Flight minigame found in the Story Mode and the Game Room. His is very similar to his fight in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which has him spinning around in a ball form, then shooting out spikes.
