Forest Rush is a Darkmess Puddle battle in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Palette Prime, specifically inside the Spellbound Woods. It is part of the Main Quest Off-Color.
To reach to the Darkmess Tentacle inside the Spellbound Woods, the heroes must reach to the Abandoned Well, where it is at. However, a Darkmess Puddle blocks the way, having this battle. This battle introduces Squashettes, which are highly mobile enemies that jump every turn, providing more movement to them, and when they land, they cause a shockwave around them, dealing damage and causing the Gust Super Effect. The heroes must reach to the area to win the battle.
Layout
The battlefield is of a somewhat large size, with the area at the very end. There are three different levels of elevation. There are also several Jump Panels throughout the battlefield.
Highest elevation
The heroes start here, and 2 Wildclaws are behind the heroes. Two Squashettes are also here, at a distance from the heroes. There is high ground here, with a Jump Panel there. There are drop downs that can be used to reach the middle elevation.
Middle elevation
There is high ground here, where 2 Stooges are. On the right, there are two small floating platforms, that each have a Squashette and a Jump Panel. Drop downs can be used to reach the lowest elevation.
Lowest elevation
The area is here, at the top left of this elevation. There are 3 Squashettes and 2 Scopers here. The Scopers are on higher ground, along with a Squashette, while the other two Squashettes are on the lower ground. The top right of this elevation has a Jump Panel, which can be used to get to the higher ground.
Battle
During the battle, Darkmess Portals will appear, which contain Squashettes. After a hero reaches the area, the battle is won.
