Abandoned feature
Hi, would you mind adding the {{abandoned}} template to {{personal-image-sig}} as per this proposal? Thanks! (T|C) 20:54, 15 August 2018 (EDT)
- I'm already chatting with him on Discord. Thanks for the concern. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 20:55, 15 August 2018 (EDT)
Re:
I meant to say that we don't need two redirects which one is capitalized and one not, and since it is called "Heroes of Light" in-game it's better to keep the one with the L capitalized. Yoshi Egg 1990 21:26, 16 August 2018 (EDT)
- The way I understand it, for titles like "Heroes of Light" where it has different cases for the words, it's best to have an all lowercase redirect (heroes of light) to accommodate it. More info here. EDIT: My edit summary was probably a bit confusing as well :/ 21:30, 16 August 2018 (EDT)
- Oh, right. I have reed trough MarioWiki:Redirects before, but i have missed the first setence of this section :P Yoshi Egg 1990 21:38, 16 August 2018 (EDT)
Subspace Army
Pretty sure those enemies weren't merged due to being in a gray area through their appearance in Smash Run, with it being saved for later to decide what to do with them as a community. I think, anyways. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 01:52, 17 August 2018 (EDT)
- That's what I thought at first too. Then Superchao, one of the people leading the Smash Bros. merge proposal, said they were overlooked. But things can always be corrected later if need be. 11:56, 17 August 2018 (EDT)

Are you outside the US by chance? Cause I am a US poster and despite finding the channel's Double Dragon cartoon playlist, the videos are blocked from being viewed here and maybe that's why you couldn't find any of the videos before hand for CN and SMB3? 97.94.4.14 17:31, 21 August 2018 (EDT)
- I am in the US. Thanks for the links, but there's an issue here: Literally anyone can upload these episodes. Why should this channel in particular be notable? 17:36, 21 August 2018 (EDT)
Fair point, but there are cases where there are channels that have legal rights for distribution and I'm pretty sure these links prove WildBrain to be legit, hopefully (https://www.wildbrain.com/) (https://archives.sfweekly.com/sanfrancisco/the-little-animation-company-that-could/Content?oid=2157828). And that being the case I do find it's good for those who want to rewatch or check out these shows with a legit means to do so. 97.94.4.14 17:41, 21 August 2018 (EDT)
- So we've decided it's fine how it is. WildBrain holding the license makes it a valid publisher, though it's interesting how they were able to acquire it. I suppose I should probably watch some of them at some point :P 20:45, 21 August 2018 (EDT)

Speaking of the SMA3 guide...
Can you check if it has a name for Mini-Raven (even if it's just "Raven")? I'm pretty sure it only appears in Worlds 3-8, 5-7, & 5-8. LinkTheLefty (talk) 12:09, 23 August 2018 (EDT)
For some odd reason, the NP SMA3 guide doesn't have an enemy list.Forgot about the weird enemy class thing, but in 5-7, it says "Raven". 12:11, 23 August 2018 (EDT)- Additionally, on the Raven's entry on the page 128, it says that some of them inhabit Naval Piranha's castle. --83.156.220.80 12:15, 23 August 2018 (EDT)
I'm not too sure.
On https://www.mariowiki.com/Wrecking_Crew, I edited it The USA date to match it saying October 18, 1985. Do you think that's right?

Notable mistakes and errors
There's a section in the SMB2 and SM64 pages, and given how horrifically off-model the SMW graphics are, I consider it a disservice to split all the problems into different locations, as it makes it harder for people to read about them if they're all over the place. The same could be said about the character and enemy sections on the same page, and the "changes" section on the SM64 DS page. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 15:43, 26 August 2018 (EDT)

- And since i am autoconfirmed since not very long, what do you think about my personal picture? I know i used a screenshot, replacing Yoshi and the Bandit. The Bandit's expression accurately ressembles Toad's expression here after getting the itchy powder. I also added some shading on the Bandit's mouth. RE:Naming
Unfortunately, no. Maybe just use Ghost (Wario Land II enemy) and explain what it is being disambiguated with (something like "both the boss from the same game and at least one other enemy named "Ghost".")...? Just a suggestion. (T|C) 16:05, 30 August 2018 (EDT)
Done for the most part.
Recently added the WildBrain mentions for The Legend of Zelda (cartoon) (which as I noted on the page lacks the live action Mario segments unfortunately, but we get what we pay for which is kind of nothing:-)), and the Super Mario World (television series).
Even did one earlier this year for the The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! under this number before it changed (https://www.mariowiki.com/Special:Contributions/68.185.41.225). And neither here nor there, but they also have Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Pole Position and even the Battletoads pilot.
Other than that and some recent edits made, I don't have much more I think I'll be adding, so I didn't feel like bother with an account. Though I recall seeing some of your edits on the Dragon Quest wiki, so for future reference my account on there can be found here (https://dragon-quest.org/wiki/User:Antiyonder). 97.94.4.14 18:11, 30 August 2018 (EDT)
- Looks good, though regarding the "live action segments" on the Zelda cartoon page, it doesn't quite make sense to me. I get what you're saying, it's referring to the Mario segments, but Zelda didn't have any, so that part seems a little off.
- I edit Dragon Quest Wiki every now and then. Got some of the games, and the wiki really needs help. Got some projects lined up for it, just a matter of getting to them. 18:17, 30 August 2018 (EDT)
- I was referring to the Mario segments that aired with them as part of the SMB Super Show package like the two with Inspector Gadget bits for example (and a shame that those two in particular don't have recent legit distribution as far as I'm aware of). But yeah I've been editing there under the account since 2012 and a bit sooner before registering. In contrast with Mario with more worldwide fame, I felt I could easily contribute more for Dragon Quest due to it being unfortunately more niche in the US. 97.94.4.14 19:24, 30 August 2018 (EDT)
- Ah, I see. Forgot the live action segments still played along the Zelda episodes.
- Yeah, the smaller wikis could use a lot of help. Main reason why I decided to put together a list of topics from various wikis that need help

- Actually no, a grand majority of them originate from the YK manual and are recycled in SMB2's, while SMUSA redraws everything. Puchipuchi L
Does it mention briefly the Puchipuchi L in your Advance guide, or SNES Nintendo's Player Guide on Hookbill the Koopa's Castle page? If yes, then what is their english name? Have they a separate name, or simply called Mildes? - Ah, okay. The SMA3 guide simply says "two large Mildes". SNES guide doesn't say anything. Not very helpful... 14:23, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- So, and the SNES Player Guide? -- FanOfYoshi 14:23, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- Ps: If it's the case: Puchipuchi L should be moved to Large Milde again. What's the full description of the SMA3 one and in which page? -- FanOfYoshi 14:24, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- Shouldn't be moved back because "Large Milde" isn't the name used. If anything, it would be "Milde (large)", but that won't work because Marching Milde is also a large Milde. A discussion should probably happen on the talk page, but here's the info:
- "You'll be lifted into a room with two large Mildes you can Ground-Pound."
- It does say "large Mildes", but improperly. It's on page 79. 14:27, 15 September 2018 (EDT)

New Super Mario Bros. U edit revert
Yeah, Alex95, I still don't understand why the recent edit from me in regards to the New Super Mario Bros. U article got reverted because I added the article about template there to state the exact same thing that New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is on its way to the Switch console. As far as I'm seeing in the article, what was stated in the main summary for New Super Mario Bros. U (about the port announcement) is just basically stating news plus it's repeating what the "Article About" template stated on the top of the article itself. --M. C. - Profile | Talk Page 14:17, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- I would've thought we still list the port in the article because it's relevant to the game, but it seems that's not the case with Mario Kart 8 I just checked. We really should though, but you can revert back if you want to. 14:20, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
Rocky Proposal
Hey, can you determine conclusively if the Rocky Wrench proposal is extended or concluded? Toadette the Achiever brought up Rule 9, "Proposals with more than two options must also be extended another week if any single option does not have a majority support: i.e. more than half of the total number of voters must appear in a single voting option, rather than one option simply having more votes than the other options."; however, as Yoshi the SSM points out, the key word is voters, not votes. I can't think of another case like this in recent memory. LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:06, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- A total of fifteen people voted, half of that would be 7.5 voters. Since option 2 and option 3 both have more than that, the proposal should be extended. 17:11, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- I also brought up that Option 2 has five voters not in Option 3, but Option 3 only has four voters not in Option 2. 5 to 4. Option 2 wins. And besides, not only me, but Toadette and Flamechomp preferred Option 2 over 3. While only Wildgoosespeeder is the only one who prefers option 3. This leads to 8 to 5. Which, Option 2 still wins.
As for a similar case, this proposal comes to my mind.Yoshi the SSM (talk) 17:19, 15 September 2018 (EDT)- Upon discussion with the team, it's been agreed to allow an extension in this instance. -- Ghost Jam 18:24, 15 September 2018 (EDT)

About Walkazo
I know this is outdated but can i express my condoleances and my sadness about not having be able to edit with her if she was still alive on her talk page, or should i directly express my feelings here? -- FanOfYoshi 12:14, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- You are more than welcome to post something on her talk page. 12:15, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- I posted a message, look at her talk page and check history. And one question. In which conditions we are promoted to become a patroller? -- FanOfYoshi 12:53, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- More info on becoming a patroller can be found here. 13:08, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- In fact, i verify the Recent Change, for the Mario Kart, when someone is changing some informations, i'm not sure if he corrects or vandalizes, since i don't own Mario Kart games (albeit i share Mario Kart 7 with a cousin who gives me the special downloading with the two Nintendo 2DS being connected eachother). -- FanOfYoshi 13:11, 18 September 2018 (EDT)

Onigiri
Hi, would you mind clarifying why you undid my edit to Onigiri? To put the WarioWare info through the "exceptions" section of the generic subjects policy:
- The subject must have a function which is different from the real world counterpart. If the differences are extremely minor, the subject may not meet this requirement.
- It's onigiri. It's white rice you mold into a conic shape and wrap seaweed around and then eat it. Nowhere in the WarioWare series is onigiri different from real world onigiri.
- The player can consume or collect the subject for use. This does not apply to sports games.
- Onigiri only appears as a collectable item in the Super Smash Bros. series, where its info is already described at Food. It can't be collected in any way in the WarioWare series.
- The subject is significant to the media's storyline.
- The only time onigiri is part of a storyline is when Dr. Crygor uses it in WarioWare: Twisted! to create a tilt-sensitive gaming system, which is nowhere near significant.
- The subject is significant to the gameplay. This does not apply to sports games.
- Onigiri appears in the microgame Rice Stuffed, but it has been argued before that keeping a section solely on microgame appearances will be too generic to even be worth keeping (hence, why Bowser Bomb (Mario Party DS) was deleted).
- The subject is determined by the users to be notable.
- That's what this discussion is for. As I statesd above, I think only the Wrecking Crew '98 section is worth keeping, and the rest should be deleted. (T|C) 18:25, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- I asked and Glowsquid said to add some of it back, but it looks like there was some confusion there looking at the conversation. I'll remove it. 18:30, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- How about appearing as a food (ie an actual gameplay element that is an item) in Smash Bros? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:06, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- Well, as Toadette said, it's already covered in Food. 19:08, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- Should at least get a cursory mention or link. It's weird not having them be linked in any way. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:10, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- Quick check through some of the other Food items shows this is a usual thing. Some don't have accompanying pages, either. 20:15, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- It should at least get an {{about}}. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:17, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- If you want to, I suppose. But I think most people familiar with Smash would look up "Food" rather than the individual food item. 20:19, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- They might look it up to try and verify that's what they saw. Who knows? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:37, 18 September 2018 (EDT)

Deletion summary
Hi, would you mind changing the deletion summary (restoring, then deleting again) for WarioWare, Inc. (disambiguation) from "Unnecessary redirect" to "Unnecessary disambiguation page"? The part at the end, I believe, can stay; it's just that one mistake at the beginning that needs to be fixed. Thanks! (T|C) 22:10, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
RE:Categories
I only created it because there are well over four entries for the category, it's just that pages haven't been created for them yet. That I feel is still acceptable to create a category for. (T|C) 15:24, 19 September 2018 (EDT)
- That's what I meant to say. It would be a different matter entirely if that was the only suitable entry for that category; however, since there are more than fifty levels in the game, it doesn't really matter if the category is created early. That being said, there's no explicit rule saying that categories cannot be created early, and I don't see how such a rule could fall under this policy/guideline either. Needlenose-Plant
Hey, is the Sanbo Flower mentioned somewhere in the SMA3 Guide or the SNES Player Guide? They appear in Lake Shore Paradise. It's for confirming the English name. -- FanOfYoshi 10:13, 21 September 2018 (EDT)
Apparent color of a proposal.
Me and Toadette the Achiever are having a little conversation of whether or not the latest proposal as of today should be red or brown. While I argue that it should be brown due to it being 9 to 9 (thus a tie), she argues that it just failed to reached a consensus and thus should be red due to a canceled proposal that proposed the opposite. More from me: Yes, this has multiple options. But, a 9 to 9 should be treated as a tie. And there are a few tied proposals out there that are brown. And I'm done. Now, Which color should it be? Yoshi the SSM (talk) 11:49, 21 September 2018 (EDT)
- Tied proposals don't happen very often, but the only proposals I'm seeing marked as a tie are those that consist of only two options (support and oppose). I say leave this red. Even though the top two options both ended in a tie, the inclusion of other options makes this an odd case. 11:56, 21 September 2018 (EDT)
Re: LuigiBandicoot
Alright, I am aware that making multiple accounts are against the rules; I was going to tell an admin to redirect that userpage to this one because I forgot the password to that account since I have not used the account for a while, but I had to go to sleep so I can get some rest before I go to school after doing tons of work. Plus, I want to use this account instead of that one anyways. Also, apologizes for taking hours to reply to what you posted on my talk page yesterday. Bloopity bloop.
Archiving messages
At how many messages you archive them? -- FanOfYoshi 11:00, 22 September 2018 (EDT)

- Another question, how much personal images (which i call custom pictures) you can have up to? I have uploaded another recently, showing the particular way i draw Bandits. -- FanOfYoshi 11:08, 22 September 2018 (EDT)
- Why is my custom picture being out of the blue space? *grunts* -- FanOfYoshi 11:09, 22 September 2018 (EDT)
- You can have up to five images, as detailed at MarioWiki:Personal images. As for the blue background, it only extents as far as the most recent text, not image thumbnails. 11:10, 22 September 2018 (EDT)
- What do you think then about my custom picture? Does it looks good/cool? -- FanOfYoshi 11:11, 22 September 2018 (EDT)
- Looks pretty neat, I like the questioning Shy Guy. 11:13, 22 September 2018 (EDT)

Itsunomanika Heiho
Hey, does it mention anything about this Shy Guy in the Player Guide/SMA3 Guide? It appears in Watch Out For Lakitu If yes, then what's the English name? If it isn't, you can simply say nope. :P -- FanOfYoshi 13:27, 23 September 2018 (EDT)
- Nope. 13:33, 23 September 2018 (EDT)
- I like how you say nope! Anyways, for Relay Heihō maybe? They appear in The Potted Ghost's Castle. Do they have a specific English name, or are plainly called Boo Guys? -- FanOfYoshi 13:51, 23 September 2018 (EDT)
- I have "bomb-throwing Shy-Guys" in the SNES guide and simply "Boo Guys" in the GBA guide. 13:54, 23 September 2018 (EDT)
- Maybe Boo Guy (bombing) would be usable for the article name? -- FanOfYoshi 13:56, 23 September 2018 (EDT)
- Sounds like a conversation to have on the talk page. But probably. 13:58, 23 September 2018 (EDT)
- In case it will be renamed, what's the whole description on both pages, and which pages? -- FanOfYoshi 13:11, 25 September 2018 (EDT)
- "The bomb-throwing Shy-Guys in the attic present a bigger danger." - SNES guide, page 50.
- "Be careful while you push the vase down the long platform-- pesky Boo Guys will work as a team to bring you down with bombs." - GBA guide, also page 50. 13:15, 25 September 2018 (EDT)
- Additionally, the Tekkyu Dosun appears in (the only castles i remember they appear in are in Hookbill The Koopa's Castle and King Bowser's Castle). What does it say about them in SNES and SMA3 guides? -- FanOfYoshi 11:41, 26 September 2018 (EDT)

- So, reverting is when it's vandalism, and undo is when you undo an edit in which the previous was unnessecary, and the one didn't know, right? Speaking of reverting, how did that I.P. use the revert tool on this Mama Luigi revision? -- FanOfYoshi 02:30, 28 September 2018 (EDT)
- I'm not sure I understand your question. Anyone can undo an edit and add a summary, but staff members have a rollback option they can use to undo edits quicker. As for the revision you linked to, they likely just typed the message out, as that's what would appear when rollback is used, but anonymous users certainly don't have access to it. 10:23, 28 September 2018 (EDT)

Salvo the Slime's Castle Support Ghost
Hey, i wondered if this type of support ghost was mentioned in the Salvo The Slime's Castle level layout. What does it says about it on the SNES Guide and the SMA3 Guide? -- FanOfYoshi 07:05, 30 September 2018 (EDT)
- They just call it a generic "moving platform". 12:39, 30 September 2018 (EDT)
- Also, after the reported user is blocked on MarioWiki:Admin noticeboard, you could just use the undo instead of the reverting. -- FanOfYoshi 12:41, 30 September 2018 (EDT)

Deleting revision visibility
I see that you are deleting. Speaking of deleting visibility, this revision's visibility should be changed because of the v word. I reported him and he got banned right after he did that edit, and i undid. Man, i should use revert instead of undo in an edit like that. -- FanOfYoshi 11:49, 2 October 2018 (EDT)
- Mario jc said it doesn't need to be hidden, so I'm going with his word. The guy was a troll, sure, but use of the word "vagina" isn't inappropriate in and of itself (it's actually kind of redundant, given they also used "female"). If they had used a different slang term, then yeah. And if by "revert" you mean the rollback tool, you don't have access to that. 11:55, 2 October 2018 (EDT)
Missile Bill picture

- It was a cropped screenshot that didn't really show anything more than the Missile Bill itself. If you think a screenshot can be useful, may have to take one yourself or find someone who can. I can probably take one tomorrow? 23:56, 5 October 2018 (EDT)

Re: Super Mario Land (series)
Thanks for the notice! Sorry for the lack of specification there, that was a mistake on my part. I believe we should delete the Super Mario Land (series) page, as we don't really have pages for other Super Mario sub-series. (Think New Super Mario Bros.) While the Super Mario Land series does include the first Wario Land game, arguably it's a similar case to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, which is named as a sequel to Super Mario World, but is arguably just the start of the Yoshi's Island series. I hope this clears things up! --CompliensCreator (talk) 13:29, 8 October 2018 (EDT)

I'm capturing them by screenshotting using a Wii emulator. I'm reuploading the images because I think they could be better-quality. Scrooge200 (talk) 19:38, 8 October 2018 (EDT)

Spam
I'm curious, is "spam" just an easy fill-in-the-bubble reason when deleting revisions? Because I see you use that a lot. What sorts of things are in them? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:13, 9 October 2018 (EDT)
- Well, these are the drop down reasons:
- Common delete reasons
- Copyright violation
- Inappropriate content
- Inappropriate personal information
- Potentially libelous information
- Spam
- Spam and inappropriate content are the most common ones, yes. 19:16, 9 October 2018 (EDT)
- But what kind of thing has been put down that you list as "spam" when you delete them? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:25, 9 October 2018 (EDT)
- Usually external links that lead to product selling or something similar. In this case, a way to get free eShop codes which is, uh, no. 19:27, 9 October 2018 (EDT)
- OK then. Just making sure you weren't wasting your time hiding random "silly" things. Guess the frequency of people spamming selling links has gone up recently.... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:31, 9 October 2018 (EDT)
- ...I wouldn't just hide a revision for no reason. 19:32, 9 October 2018 (EDT)

Ally Phone redirect
Sorry to bother someone who doesn’t know me (although you might know me from SmashWiki) about something so minimal, but there needs to be a redirect from Ally Phone to Buddy Phone, because Ally Phone is what it’s known as in the UK, so anyone from there is probably going to be looking for the Ally Phone, not the Buddy phone. What does this have to do with you? I don’t know how to make pages over here on MarioWiki, much less redirects, so I was hoping you could do this. Thank you. 72.133.91.93 14:23, 10 October 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105
- There was talk about Ally Phone being the American English name, so I'll do some checking on that first. You can create pages when you have an autoconfirmed account. Also, Blueflame105 is not registered on SmashWiki :P 14:32, 10 October 2018 (EDT)
The vandal I.P.
Also, thanks for having blocked the vandal. If anything else, is there any other conditions aside from asking for blocking someone and hiding his revision? Also, you don't need to use the revert after the vandal has been blocked, you can just use undo. ;) -- FanOfYoshi 06:45, 13 October 2018 (EDT)
- Not sure I understand the question. If you mean using the admin noticeboard, that should only be used to report someone you think needs blocked. And using rollback is just easier. 06:53, 13 October 2018 (EDT)
- Also, forgot to ask you even though it should be another section. Does the SMA3 Guide still calls Red Blarggs like that, or were they just called Blarggs? - Looks like they are already called Gargantua Blargg, which is the name the guides use. 13:59, 13 October 2018 (EDT)
- Also, forgot to ask you even though it should be another section. Does the SMA3 Guide still calls Red Blarggs like that, or were they just called Blarggs? List of implied locations#Kong Country School District
Hello, could you please check if this section I added has proper grammar? Do you say "the place where Wrinkly Kong worked" or "the place where Wrinkly Kong worked at"? TY. -- -- KOOPA CON CARNE 14:04, 13 October 2018 (EDT)

"Major" change
Hi, I'm just wondering if it's okay to move Talk:Banana Bunch (minigame) to just Talk:Banana Bunch. I'm just wondering because the proposal on that talk page doesn't pertain to the minigame at all, going in clear violation of rule 4 for talk page proposals. (T|C) 20:20, 24 October 2018 (EDT)
Figurine
Old talk section on the figurines page apparently decided it wasn't official due to inaccuracies, though given it's based off of early depictions and seems to be European, I wouldn't be so sure. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:17, 26 October 2018 (EDT)
- I'm not quite finding what you're referring to, maybe this discussion? But it has the Nintendo logo and seal, and we can't exactly ask 3Dejong (talk) anymore, so... 00:24, 26 October 2018 (EDT)

RE: Smash Bros.
If you say so. :S My bad. I saw a big inconsistency in the Smash Bros. fighter categories for a lot of articles. Paper Jorge (Talk·Contribs)
Hatopop
So i guess you're refering the blue Lava Bubble's internal filename being Fire Bubble as an example. -- FanOfYoshi 15:02, 29 October 2018 (EDT)
- I actually didn't know about that specific case, but no other articles that use a filename as the source have {{another language}} as far as I know. 17:29, 29 October 2018 (EDT)
Featured Image restoration
The Luigi's Mansion group artwork on there needs replaced with the older version as well. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:24, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- Good catch, done. 20:26, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- Not sure how important this is as it probably wasn't cropped like the other one was, but the actual featured image was Template:Media link.... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:29, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- It appears to be the exact same image, just in a different format. Do you still want me to replace it? 20:32, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- If that's all it is, probably doesn't matter. Though technically, the featured image was an earlier, smaller revision. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:35, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- The dimensions are actually the exact same. The only difference is the jpg quality, so yeah, doesn't really matter. 20:36, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- I mean the latest revision on that was 2012, which was an enlargement; in 2009, when the featured image system was still in place and taking up space on the main page, it was smaller. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:38, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- Oh, I see. But does that matter much? The Metal Mario was cropped and a different color, and the LM one was the wrong image. 20:42, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- I doubt it, I was asking you XD Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:43, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- Haha, I don't think size is an issue here :P 20:44, 31 October 2018 (EDT)
- Though to be perfectly fair, given that the "Featured Images" section at the time was intended to show images that were higher than the wiki's average at the time, it might actually matter a bit more than it at first seems... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:45, 31 October 2018 (EDT)

Please PM me your Critic Corner section on the forums by no later than November 10th. |
December's issue, 141, will be our annual Holiday issue. It will also have a Super Smash Bros. theme to celebrate its 20th anniversary as well as the release of SSB Ultimate! If possible, please write a section for our lovely little Critic Corner pertaining to either whatever festive festivity you partake in in the December-January period, or something about Smash Bros...or both! If you have any questions, or want to bounce ideas, or anything else, my inbox is always open. - Hypnotoad (T|C) 16:12, 3 November 2018 (EDT)

IP
Regarding what you said to Owen, it wasn't that the IP didn't know about the forum, it's that they were deliberately defying the "Please don't ask questions like 'What is your favorite character/team/area in the game'" box by doing all three. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 15:21, 5 November 2018 (EST)
Switch Block (Mario & Wario)
Hey, could you undelete this article? It looks like it was mistaken as conjecture, but it's the name from the instruction booklet as I've mentioned on FanOfYoshi's talk page. LinkTheLefty (talk) 16:55, 5 November 2018 (EST)
- It was deleted because it was a stub article. Is there more information that can be added to it? 17:01, 5 November 2018 (EST)
- I don't know since I didn't see it, but there was a proposal about it so it should be created anyway. I can probably think of more material. LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:15, 5 November 2018 (EST)
Machow8
I know i'm supposed to ask to him, but how does he uploads files before getting autoconfirmed? -- FanOfYoshi 13:24, 7 November 2018 (EST)
- He just created his account, and normally you can only upload files when you are autoconfirmed. -- FanOfYoshi 13:25, 7 November 2018 (EST)
- You can upload files from your computer after creating an account. You have to be autoconfirmed to upload from a URL. (tbh, I'd rather both be restricted to autoconfirm) 13:26, 7 November 2018 (EST)
- In addition, i guess you are still undecided about Big Lantern Ghost and Mega Kantera. -- FanOfYoshi 14:05, 7 November 2018 (EST)

- Done. 12:11, 14 November 2018 (EST)
- I guess this is because the redirect is too sensible to be turned into an article, i guess? -- FanOfYoshi 12:18, 14 November 2018 (EST)
