The Potted Ghost's Castle is the last level of World 2 in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. This level's playable Yoshi is the Blue Yoshi. It is the only castle that does not have the full name of the boss in the title.

Layout[edit]

Blue Yoshi battling Roger the Potted Ghost.

Blue Yoshi starts on the roof of the castle next to a Warp Pipe that leads inside the castle. Inside the castle is an area with several Flatbed Ferries which are above a pit of lava. At the end of this section is a Middle Ring and a Warp Pipe that leads to the next area.

In the next area, is an spinning wheel and a row of thorns. At the top of the room is a Warp Pipe that leads to a secret area that has a Winged Cloud which contains a morph bubble that will transform Blue Yoshi into the Train. Near the beginning of the area is another Warp Pipe that leads to the next area.

The next area is a sewer with several paths. The path at the bottom left of the room leads to a room with several Boo Guys on the ceiling that will try to drop a bomb on the player. At the end of the room is a pot that contains a key. The path to the right leads to another room with several spiked objects which must be raised so the player can get past them. After this is a room with a locked door.

The next room also contains several paths, the path on the top left leads to a Middle Ring. The path on the bottom right has a door that leads to a room with two Burts, if the Burts are defeated a Special Flower will appear. The path on the top right leads to another room that contains the spiked objects. At the end of the room is a spinning wheel that must be used to get through the rest of the room. At the top of the room is a thorn that needs to be destroyed to reveal a door to the next area.

The next room contains lots of Bandits and pots, one of which contains a key to a locked door, the pot with the key is to the left of the Middle Ring. The next room contains another Middle Ring, some more pots, and the door to the boss.

The boss of this castle is Roger the Potted Ghost; to defeat him, the player must push him off the edge of the platform they are standing on.
