The Excess Express Conductor.

The Excess Express Conductor is a Toad that works in the Excess Express as the conductor in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He takes care of the passengers' needs.

Ghost T. later possessed him so he could write an E-mail to Mario.

Unlike other Toads, the Conductor sports a black cap with red spots, instead of the usual white cap.

When you first board the train you must report to him the sticky, yummy threat, which he then reports to Pennington, the only detective on board. Later, to move on, you must get his blanket from the ghost in cabin 004 (by using Vivian to hide in the shadows, causing him to appear). To do this, ask the ghost for the blanket and he'll ask for your help first. If you decide to help him, he will ask you to get his diary from the baggage car. Ask the conductor to let you in and he will. Use Paper Mode to get through two crates and you will find a ragged diary. If you wish to read it, be sure to save first, as reading the diary gives you an automatic gameover. To move on, give Ghost T. the diary and you'll be given the blanket. Give it to the Conductor and then go sleep in your bed, and when you awake a new day will begin.
