DJ Cheep Tuna is a DJ Rabbid who appears in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located in Beacon Beach. He wears a hat that resembles a Cheep Cheep, and wears a red shirt and pants. He also wears black headphones with a blue wave pattern on them. His name is a pun on the terms "Cheep Cheep", "chiptune" and "cheap tuna". Being a DJ, DJ Cheep Tuna always tries to get the audience pumped up and excited.

History

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

After the heroes clear out the Darkmess Tentacles at Beacon Beach, they can find DJ Cheep Tuna, who has a side quest for the heroes, named Cheep Beats and Bleepstreets. The heroes must find both of DJ Cheep Tuna's lost records and return them to him. After the records are returned, he starts a Beach party where everyone dances, except for Edge. Not long after, Darkmess oozes out of the speakers, and must be stopped in a battle, known as Take it to the Bridge.

After the Darkmess is cleared, DJ Cheep Tuna resumes the party, and Cheep Cheeps jump out of the water during his song, along with a Spark named Aquadash. Beep-0 declares that the Spark is amazing, however DJ Cheep Tuna mistakes his declaration for his music being amazing, which annoys Beep-0.

He also appears in the game's third DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show, where he has the Darkmess Waves side Quest for the heroes. In this Quest, a Darkmess Puddle must be cleansed to save his set.

Memory bio

DJ CHEEP TUNA

DJ Cheep Tuna is a musician of some renown who was lured to Beacon Beach by false promises of a sold-out concert by the planet's warden, Augie. Still, his legions of fans are moved by his primitive electronic compositions. This connection to a work of art is something I've yet to experience, but long to.

He has announced that his next album will be a "trance-chiptune-vaporwave-indie-chill-pop crossover" that will hopefully pay for his flight home.
