Zess T., the chef.
Zess T. is grumpy chef in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door who resides in Rogueport.
Mario first runs into her searching for her lost Contact Lens; but Mario steps on them and destroys them. And until Mario rebuys her lens, she will not let Mario into the West Side of Rogueport. Mario buys her new contact lens, but it seems she still carries a grudge calling him 'Stompy'. Later she is able to cook improved food items out of other, regular items.
Her cooking is limited to one item at a time until you get the Maitre Delish cookbook from the Creepy Steeple. To give the cookbook to Zess T., Mario must complete the "Seeking Legendary Book!" trouble.
Trivia
- "Zess T." sounds like "zesty", which, in a way, describes her.
- It is rumored she is Tayce T.'s sister. If this is true, then she is also The Master's sister, as Tayce T. and the Master are related.
- Zess T. starts calling Mario names such as Mr. Squishy and Sir Stomps-a-lot after Mario accidentally steps on her contact lens.
- According to an email Mario gets within the game, Zess T. is 55 years old during the events of the game.
